独鈷の滝

After my visiting to the Takakura shrine I dropped into the Buddhist temple Ganryu-ji. I had to walk up to along the narrow slope to the gate.




A small tree is growing on the stonewall. The sun was shinning at the leaves.

The roof is thatched. Ganryu means the rock and the waterfall.




Going up the road in the woods from the Ganryu temple you can see the waterfall.

気弱そうな俳優

子供時代から気になる俳優さんがいる。
二枚目でなければマッチョでもない。どちらかと言えば色白で痩せぎすで、なよなよした感じの男性だ。
役柄もそんな見た目を有効活用したかの様に、「根は善人だが意志が弱くて悪の道に迷い込んだ男」「何をやっても裏目に出て泥沼に陥る男」が多かった。
彼は役者としては名門の生まれで、お兄さんも俳優だった。どっちかと言えばお兄さんの方が有名だった。長男の風格と言うか、優しい人柄だが芯はしっかりしている、日本のお父さん、と言う役柄で昼ドラでは欠かせない俳優だったが、先年惜しくもお亡くなりになった。
「気の弱い」俳優の話に戻ろう。
彼は本当は意志が強い人なのだろう。だから、見た目で弱く見える人間の役を得意としたに違いない。見ている人をイライラさせ、時にはらはらさせる、ぼんぼんタイプの悪人だ。

子供の頃、某国営放送で彼を見た。一年物の長いドラマだった。国営放送お得意の、昭和の初めから戦後までの、逞しく生きる女性の半生記だ。
ヒロインは奈良の秘境十津川村から、奈良に女中奉公にやって来る田舎者。十津川の人にとって、奈良は都会。そんな都会の一等地で旅館を営む家の一人息子が彼の役だった。
旅館の女主人は働き者で気立ての良いヒロインを気に入って、息子の嫁にする。ところが、この息子がどうしようもないどら息子で、働かない、女遊びを止めない、お金を浪費する、の放蕩三昧。親が亡くなった後は、嫁が女中上がりなのを良いことに威張りちらし、苦労の掛け通し。
彼にとって、正にはまり役だった。手に負えない馬鹿旦那ぶりを発揮しつつも、どこか女性の母性本能をくすぐる目。ヒロインは必死で彼に尽くす。
私の親はいつもヒロインに同情して、彼に腹を立てていた。
しかし、私は、彼が面白くてたまらなかった。どんなに放蕩の限りを尽くしても、彼はどこかでヒロインを頼り、必ず戻ってくる。
こんな回があった。
ヒロインの親が亡くなり、葬儀の為に彼女は夫から暇をもらって十津川へ里帰りする。葬式を済ませて大急ぎで奈良へ戻るが、大雪で帰りが遅れる。旅館では彼がイライラして待っている。彼女が疲労困憊して戻っても、ねぎらいの言葉すら掛けず、怒鳴りつける。「酷い男だ」と私の親は言ったが、私は彼は妻を心配していたのだろうと思った。
愛情表現の仕方を知らない男。
やがて戦争が始まり、彼は兵役にかり出される。留守宅を守るヒロインの話がメインになるが、戦場で苦労している彼の姿も描かれる。終戦後、彼は九死に一生を得て、復員する。
妻に抱きしめられ、始めて生きていることを実感する。自分が誰を必要としていたか、誰から求められていたのか、やっと理解するのだ。
そして最終回、彼は歳を取り、妻にダイヤの指輪をプレゼントする。初めてのプレゼントに喜ぶ妻の顔を見て満足した彼は、穏やかな晴れた日に、庭で日向ぼっこしながら世を去る。
カメラは彼の指からタバコがぽろりと落ちるところを映す。

女の半生記だが、私は一人の男の心の成長と夫婦の絆の物語だと思った。

この素敵な「頼りない男」を演じた俳優は、最近見かけなかったので、もうこの世におられないのかと思っていたが、実はまだお元気で、どうやら舞台などで活躍されているようだ。
またテレビでもお目に掛かりたいものである。

天目一神社の桜

Sakura at the Ame-no-ma-hitotsu Shrine.

I didn't think that they had Sakura trees at the Ame-no-ma-hitotsu Shrine though I visited there some times.
I dropped into there to see Sakura at the foot of the Oogi-yama.
Then I was glad to see Sakura bloomings at the shrine.




I like this shrine the best around here. I don't know why, this shrine is not so old.
Ame-no-ma-hitotsu Shrine was written on the official book Engishiki in the 10th Century by the ancient Japanese government. It was lost after that maybe because they didn't think of the shrine after they got Buddhism. After the Meiji Restolation they built this shrine again.

Chasing Sakura in the rain.

I drove to search for Sakura bloomings. I didn't like to visit famous spots of Sakura trees. I dropped into some small trees in the town.
