Hara-fudo waterfall and Somen waterfall
Somen waterfall is at a roadside of R29 from Hyogo pref. to Tottori pref.
Somen means noodles which is mainly eaten during summer. Water running looks like somen.
Hara-fudo waterfall is very well-known as one of the 100 best waterfalls in Japan.
There are three falls regarded as one fall called Odaki ( male fall ) and a smaller fall from the left clif called Medaki ( female fall ), and those falls are called Hara-fudo waterfall as a general term. Odaki is 88 meters tall totally.
Hara-fudo is really Hara-fudo-myoou , that is Acalanath at Hara.
There is a small temple of Fudo-myoou before the waterfall.
To the waterfall we have to pass over two suspension bridges.
You can enjoy beautiful mountains and a valley.

紅葉狩りの1,2,3,どれも絶景ね。

Junさんの写真をみてると日本のよさがひしひしと伝わるわ。日本に帰ったら山を登ったりするためにも足腰鍛えておかないとっ。
今まで西播磨の紅葉を見たことがなかったので、びっくりしました。
返信削除京都はもの凄い人で自動車で行くと身動き出来ないってわかってたので、西へ行ったのです。
もしかしたら京都よりお得かも。
東京近郊もきっと紅葉真っ盛りでしょう。
播磨の山はそんなに標高が高くなくて紅葉の名所も自動車で行って徒歩数分と言う場所ばかりなので山登りの準備はしなくても良いのです。(笑
